How to Cube Pumpkin in Soilless Culture
With the miniaturization of today's families and the continuous improvement of people's eating habits to the quality of food and beverages, soilless cultivation of mini pumpkins has received unanimous praise from people as a special product. The value of small soilless pumpkins has doubled, and the market demand is increasing. In recent years, the export market has developed from Japan and Southeast Asia to the European and American markets, and the products continue to sell well. Here we introduce the soilless cultivation technology of pumpkin for you:

Germinating
Place the soaked seeds at 25°C to 30°C to accelerate germination. After 36 to 48 hours, when 75% of the seeds are broken and the buds are 0.3 to 0.8 cm long, they can be sown.
During the germination process, we should pay attention to: Turn the seeds once a day to keep the temperature inside and outside the seed pile basically the same; check the water status when turning the seeds, and spray water in time when the seeds are found to be too dry.
Sowing
Putting the treated pumpkin seeds into the planting media, and putting seeds and the planting media together in the tray, drenching the media with water, We need to sow one seed in each hole. Covering the tray with a layer of newspaper to keep moisture and avoid light, and remove the newspaper in time after the seeds grow.
After sowing and before growing seedlings, keep the temperature at 25°C to 30°C during the day and 15°C to 20°C at night; after growing seedlings, keep the ambient temperature at 20°C to 25°C during the day and around 15°C at night. The plants can be transplanted when they have 3 leaves.
Strong seedling standard: seedling age is about 15 days, with 3 leaves and 1 heart, dark green leaf color, well-developed roots, no pests and diseases, and the height is about 15cm.

Transplanting
When the seedlings have three leaves and one heart, they can be planted at a ground temperature above 15°C. Timely watering after planting can improve the survival rate. In order to prevent the ambient temperature from being too low at night in early spring, plastic film can be added with non-woven fabric for heat preservation.
Fertilizing
Growers can fertilize according to planting density.
Planting Media
Soilless cultivation has very high requirements for the planting media, which need to have strong permeability, good moisture retention, and high viability after transplantation. And Tenlead Hydroponic Planting Cubes can meet all the conditions.
Tenlead Plant Growing Cube is a growing medium made from phenolic foam. It provides a high quality, sterile and inert root growing environment. It provides from 90%-98% air space in between its fibers while still giving excellent support for the plant.
The hydroponic growth cube is sterile and inorganic. Because it does not contain any organic matter, it helps to protect the root zone from harmful microorganisms.

What most important is that it is biodegradable and will completely degrade after a period of time without polluting the environment. Conversely, some products that cannot be decomposed, such as rock wool, will take you a lot of time and cost to handle after planting. We firmly believe that it will be more valuable and expand its market in the future nursery garden work. It has good chemical stability, free-poison and free-pollution, which is an important planting material in modern agricultural production. It is especially suitable for the industrialized production of vegetables, melons and fruits and flowers. In coordination with modern irrigation technologies, it can greatly improve the growth speed of crops, improving the production efficiency and quality of crops and reduce production cost.
