DIY hydroponic planting cubes offer a long list of benefits to plants growers. DIY hydroponic planting cubes are sterile and inorganic. Because it doesn't contain any organic matter and helps to protect the root zone against damaging microbes. DIY hydroponic planting cubes become saturated with water when you soak them, but it quickly drains away. DIY hydroponic planting cubes are largely safe from microbes, excess water can still suffocate roots and hamper growth. Good aeration stops this from happening.
The new-type hydroponic growing medium are widely used in commercial applications. Phenolic Foam cubes are inexpensive and mess free solution, perfect for NFT systems. They are inert substrate with great water and air holding properties which allow you full control over your plants nutrition.
The growing cubes come in either 20, 25, 30mm and other size thickness versions with holes, length and width both 250mm. The size of cubes you need sometimes does not necessarily make a significant difference, but there are of course more suitable cubes than others that you are using.
