Products Description
Tenlead growing mediums for plant cuttings are made of phenolic foam that are sterile and inorganic. They do not contain any organic matter and helps to protect the root zone from harmful microorganisms. The mediums are designed to make vegetable gardening convenient and fast. Theur high porosity make them have excellent water absorption and water retention performance (without loss of nutrient solution), and can lock the nutrients and water needed to maintain plant health.

how to use it
1. Prepare the Growing Mediums: Cut them into blocks or sheets, ensuring they fit the container or tray you'll use for the propagation. Ensure the foam pieces are adequately moistened before use.
2. Select Healthy Plants: Choose healthy plants from which you'll take the root cuttings. Select plants that are disease-free and have vigorous root systems.
3. Take Root Cuttings: Carefully dig around the selected plant's root system. Identify healthy, thick roots and cut them into sections, typically around 2-6 inches long, using sharp, sterilized shears. Each cutting should have at least one growth node or bud.
4. Insert Cuttings into the foam: Make holes or slits in the moistened blocks and gently insert the root cuttings. Ensure that the cuttings are placed vertically with the growth nodes facing upward and the cut ends securely anchored in the foam.
5. Provide Proper Conditions: Place the tray or container with the inserted cuttings in a warm, well-lit area with indirect sunlight. Maintain adequate moisture levels in the growing mediums to encourage root growth.
6. Monitor Growth: Regularly check the cuttings for signs of new root development and growth. Ensure the foam remains moist but not waterlogged.
7. Transplanting: Once the cuttings have developed strong root systems, they can be transplanted into individual pots or directly into the ground for further growth and maturity.
Using Tenlead growing mediums for root cuttings offers excellent moisture retention and aeration, promoting healthy root development. Ensure sanitation and proper care throughout the process to minimize the risk of diseases and ensure successful propagation of new plants.
