Plant Media Cubes
Plant Media Cubes are growing media made from phenolic foam which are biodegradable and eco-friendly. They provide high quality, sterile and inert root growing environment. And they provide from 90-98 percent air space in between their fibers while still giving excellent support for the plant. The product is chemically stable and is an safe substrate. After high temperature treatment, it is non-toxic and sterile. The bulk density is small, the texture is light, and the porosity is large . Good air permeability, strong water absorption and good drainage.
Planting Process of Plant Media Cubes :
Sowing
1. Sowing
Sow The Seeds. In this step, please put the seeds in the holes
2. Soaking
Put water in the tray until the growing medium and seeds are fully saturated.
3. Shading
Covering the growing medium to keep the seeds in the dark, and waiting for the seeds to germinate. (There is no need to water during this period until its germination.)
Germinating
1. Germinating
After the seeds germinating, expose the seeds in sufficient light, and watering them moderately until the cotyledons grow. (Adjust the amount of water appropriately according to the temperature.)
2. Cotyledons Growing
After the cotyledons growing out, you could add the nutrient to the tray. Normally, you need to adjust the EC value to the range of 800-1000us/cm.
Transplanting
When the rhizomes of the seedlings are strong enough, it can be transplanted to the planting trough. In general, the seedlings are strong enough to transplant after 2 leaves grow.
