Soilless Cultivation Knowledge for Novices
When it comes to soilless cultivation, everyone must be familiar with it. In recent years, With the improvement of rural economic level, this advanced agricultural technology has made great progress. If you are new to hydroponics and want to learn, this article is for you. The following are some common questions for novices. After reading it, you will be able to have a systematic understanding of soilless cultivation.

How to Build a Shelf?
Organic ecological soilless cultivation is generally divided into trough cultivation, bag cultivation, and three-dimensional vertical cultivation.
1. Trough Cultivation
The common organic eco-type soilless cultivation type is trough cultivation. Materials such as planks, wooden strips, bricks, bamboo poles, etc. can be used to build the trough. In order to prevent the infection of soil diseases and insect pests, a layer of 0.1 thick plastic film is spread on the bottom of the tank after the tank is successfully built.
If cultivating vines such as cucumbers, pumpkins, and zucchini, or plants with tall plants, the frame of the groove should be 15-20 cm, but the width of the groove needs to be 48 cm, and the distance between the grooves should be about 1 meter.
On the contrary, if the crops with shorter plants such as strawberry, lettuce and rape are cultivated, the frame of the groove is 15-20 cm, the width of the groove is 72-96 cm, and the distance between the grooves is 0.5-0.8 meters.
2. Bag Cultivation
We can choose a black aging-resistant and opaque film bag with a width of 30 cm and a height of 15 cm, and make it into a cultivation bag that can hold 10-15 liters of substrate inside. In order to prevent the death of plant retting roots, we need to make 2-3 small holes of about 1 cm on the bottom and both sides of the cultivation bag, so that the accumulated water and nutrient solution can be discharged.
3. Three-Dimensional Vertical Cultivation
Three-dimensional vertical cultivation is divided into columnar and long bag cultivation. Columnar cultivation generally adopts hard plastic tubes, with holes around it, and crops are planted on the substrate in the holes; long bag cultivation uses plastic film bags with thickness, and length of 15 mm, 0.15-0.2 m, and 2 m, respectively. , as with columnar cultivation, holes are opened around the bag, and crops are planted on the substrate in the holes.

How to configure the planting media?
The planting media is very important, so we need to choose them carefully. Planting media is divided into inorganic media and organic one.
1. Organic Planting Media
Various agricultural wastes such as crop stalks and mushroom residues are cheap and environmentally friendly, and can be continuously regenerated. Their planting effect is ideal and the crop yield is very high.
2. Inorganic Planting Media
There are many materials that can be used for the inorganic planting media, such as sand, ceramsite, vermiculite, cinder, weathered coal, perlite, etc. can be used as the material of the inorganic one. Because the plants are irrigated with clean water, soilless cultivation does not have very high requirements for the irrigation system, and the water source can be directly supplied by tap water or a pressure pump.
Before the soilless culture technology, the seedlings should be raised in a soilless way, and the substrate should be put into the hole tray, and the seeds can be sown after watering. When sowing, put 1 or 2 seeds in each hole, cover it with a thin cover after sowing, remove the cover in time after emergence, and it can be planted in one month.
Today, we want to introduce you to a new generation of planting media ---- Tenlead Plant Growing Cube. Tenlead Plant Growing Cube is made from phenolic foam. It provides a high quality, sterile and inert root growing environment. Hydroponic growing cube provides from 90%-98% air space in between its fibers while still giving excellent support for the plant. It is sterile and inorganic. Because it does not contain any organic matter, it helps to protect the root zone from harmful microorganisms.
What most important is that it is biodegradable and will completely biodegrade after a period of time without polluting the environment. Conversely, some products that cannot be decomposed, such as rock wool, will take you a lot of time and cost to handle after planting. We firmly believe that it will be more valuable and expand its market in the agricultural industry.
The planting cubes do not contain any chemicals, allowing plants to grow healthier. Unlike soil, these cubes do not block any nutrients. All elements in the nutrient solution can be used in plants, i.e. there is no soil interference. It is also effective in eliminating fungi and diseases common to young plants.

Which Crops are Suitable for Soilless Cultivation?
Organic ecological soilless cultivation technology is suitable for planting a variety of crops, mainly including solanaceous fruits, melons, leafy vegetables, fresh cut flowers, etc.
1.Nightshade
Cherry tomatoes, tomato, eggplant, capsicum, bell pepper, ginseng fruit, strawberries and more.
2. Melons
Cucumbers, pumpkins, watermelons, melons, zucchini, etc.
3. Leafy vegetables
Lettuce, cabbage, spinach, celery, rapeseed, etc.
4. Flowers
Cut roses, lilies, orchids, etc.
